The Dark Sky exercise is getting national attentional due to the scale and scope of the proposed disaster - a cyber and physical attack that takes down a large geographic area of Wisconsin's power grid. This results in massive power outages and severe fuel shortages over an extended period of time for both citizens and emergency personnel. I will discuss how GIS was incorporated during the Dark Sky exercise in mid-May, from providing analysis to decision-makers in the State Emergency Operations Center to how we share data and support local GIS staff in their county EOCs.
