The Kettle Moraine Land Trust partners with land owners to preserve natural lands, primarily in Walworth County. This project helped the KMLT by identifying potentially significant conservation sites. The project incorporated the needs and wishes of community residents to evaluate and determine the best sites for conservation. More protected natural areas and parks provide citizens with a better choice of outdoor recreation opportunities and enhanced quality of life. Natural areas provide life‐long learning experiences and shape healthy communities.
